Downtown DeLand is an award-winning Florida Main Street community. Many dedicated businesses and individuals work daily to maintain a vibrant and economically successful downtown. This is where our history and our future connect and we invite you to be a part of it.
DeLand was among the first five communities to receive the Main Street designation in Florida in 1985 and was recognized as a “Great American Main Street Award” winner in 1997 by the National Trust for Historic Preservation Main Street Center. In 2017, MainStreet DeLand won the “America’s Main Streets” contest presented by IndependentWeStand.org. We are the only community in the nation to have earned both awards!
